AN Irish influencer has revealed the essential items she had to purchase from Boots ahead of Electric Picnic.

Sophie Murray who posts on TikTok as @sophie_murray shared her Electric Picnic Boots haul and asked others to add to her list of essentials in the comments.

She said: "It's a Boots haul, but not only is it a Boots haul, it's an Electric Picnic haul for my Electric Picnic girlies.

"My Irish girlies will know that Electric Picnic is a festival happening this weekend and it's a camping festival.

"So, we've got to be prepared to live our best lives.

"This is my essentials shop, and I know there's a lot, but this is for me and my boyfriend."

But apart from her haul, her genius tip involved bringing a hot water bottle from home.

She said: "Someone told me to bring a hot water bottle and get it filled up because it gets so cold - get it filled up at one of the food trucks, genius."

At the top of Sophie's general checklist was baby wipes, tissues and toilet roll.

She said: "The first essential is baby wipes, tissues for your bag, we did get toilet roll - it is an essential but tissues could be fine.

"To be honest the portaloos, they run out of toilet roll after the first day - after the first hour."

She also explained that makeup wipes could be handy but said she was bringing all her skincare and washing her face in the sinks.

She said: "You might get makeup remover wipes, but I'm bringing cotton pads because my skincare will be happening, I will be bringing my little toiletries bag to the sinks that are outside the portaloos and I will be giving myself a full double cleanse."

She added: "Plasters because your feet are going to hurt, and toothbrushes."

Sophie then showed off all the mini-sized products she had bought in Boots to pack for the festival.

She said: "Mini anti bac handwipes for your bag, shampoo, mini gel - I'll probably do a slicked bun by day two, mouthwash, tooth paste, dry shampoo - it's essential and body wash.

"I won't judge anyone for a babywipe shower, but there are showers there and the queues are huge, but there are showers down there.

"There is also a blow-dry bar or a hair salon, I'm almost sure - if you feel like treating yourself to a blow-dry - I might do so."

The influencer added a mirror and painkillers among other things to her list of essentials.

She said: "You cannot forget a mirror for getting ready in the morning, it's grim but you will need to see that sight in the morning.

"Deodorant and Panadol - for the hangover and Dioralyte.

"Don't forget hand santiser, don't forget a speaker, don't forget plastic bags, they actually come in handy.

"Bring snacks, bring cash, a portable charger, a reusable bottle is very handy.

"And battery lights for your tent, your gonna need some light source in there, maybe even just a little torch."

Everyone in the comments were so grateful for Sophie's recommendations and many added their own essential items.

One person said: "A lot of places at EP this year are cashless just so people know."

Another commented: "Battery fairy lights for light source in the tent."

Someone else wrote: "A really good tip if you’re bringing a duvet put it in a vacuum sealed bag and shrink it down for the way in to make it easier."
