Healthy Hornets Fall Festival to be held Thursday at Hudson High

The 1st annual Healthy Hornets Fall Festival is taking place Thursday, October 13 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Hudson High School Gymnasium. The event will feature performances, exhibits, and numerous vendors featuring products geared toward a healthier lifestyle.  There will also be quite a few prizes that will be given away.

The Hudson Cheer Teams from Hudson High and Middle School will be performing, plus the Hudson Highlights and Junior Lights Pom/Dance Teams will show off several routines as well. The Hudson Robotics Club will be exhibiting its projects.

The Hudson Culinary Club will have some yummy treats. The Hola Club will be providing translation. The National Honor Society students will assist in the management of the event. Angelina College Patient Care Technician Students will be aiding in and/or performing: blood sugar checks, blood pressure measurements, and pulse oximeter readings.

Admission into the event is free, and around $2,000 worth of door prizes will be given away. Some of those businesses that have donated prizes include The Very Thing, Smoothie King, F.I.F.T.H. Quarter, Grogan's Cleaners, Layered Homes, Home Depot, Chick fil-A West, Guacamole's, Walmart, The Spud, AAA Trophy, Carroway Funeral Home, Outback, and Simple Simons Pizza.
